The Association of Visual Artists in Fredrikstad inaugurated a major art exhibition running from 15 to 30 November 2025 , marking the 150th anniversary of the organization. Around 150 artworks were showcased, contributed by artists from the local Norwegian community as well as several participants with immigrant backgrounds.

Among the featured contributors was Iraqi-Norwegian artist Salah Al-Saadi, whose piece received notable appreciation from both the artistic elite and the wider audience.

The exhibition presented a wide range of artistic expressions, including painting, ceramics, photography, graphite work, and sculpture. No specific theme was imposed, allowing each artist complete freedom in choosing their subject and style.

The opening ceremony drew a large attendance of prominent cultural figures, artists, and residents of the city.
